The Kai Box

The Kai Box is a one-off or ongoing food subscription service that gets delivered straight to your door. The great thing about this box is that it's filled with whole food plant-based ingredients that make four different meals, which can be viewed (and customised) on their website before purchase. It comes with the recipes (physical or electronic copy), so you get to experience brand new meals and learn new recipes. Their packaging is super cute and well-labelled, so these meals can definitely be made by beginners also. I thought this was a good way for me to branch out and learn healthy vegan meals for myself, and then whatever else he wants to cook for himself on the side, he can.

I've only received one of The Kai Box parcels so far but I have to say that I'm sold on the idea. You can choose from the couples or family box, depending on how many people are in your household.

Overall: easy, convenient and tasty vegan ingredients at your service - and the lovely people at The Kai Box are super friendly and communicative too. Who doesn't love supporting local NZ businesses. I know I do!

P.S. For those who aren't from New Zealand, kai means food in Maori.
