A few weeks ago, I went up to Auckland for several meetings, one being a catch up with the co-founder of Thinkladder, Mark, to take photos and share our mental health projects with one another (mine being The Heart Chain).

I found Thinkladder when I was scrolling through Instagram and it showed up on an account that I follow. I realised that the ladder that is used in photos, shown by influencers and people featured, was a metaphor. A metaphor of hope, positive thinking, and reaching your goals when it comes to mental illness and personal wellbeing. I just loved what they stood for and that same night I gave their page a follow. Mark contacted me and we met up that weekend to talk about what we both want to do to end the stigma that is associated with mental illness in New Zealand.

Thinkladder has a great website that can help you evaluate and discover positive ways of coping with different situations, and they have an app that is coming soon, so watch this space.

Thanks Mark for letting me be a part of this amazing project and I 110% vibe what y'all are doing. Cannot wait to see all of the amazing things that are going to come out of this!
